Wells Fargo Technology sets IT strategy; enhances the design, development, and operations of our systems; optimizes the Wells Fargo infrastructure footprint; provides information security; and enables continuous banking access through in-store, online, ATM, and other channels to Wells Fargo's more than 70 million global customers.
This position will lead multiple high performing teams of experienced information security professionals within the Information Security Risk Assessment (ISRA) Center of Excellence, working with aligned lines of business, technology, and peer Information Security groups to ensure risks and threats to Wells Fargo's assets (e.g., business applications, third parties, infrastructure components) are identified and addressed. This leader will be responsible for timely, accurate, and consistent process execution, establishing a high performing team culture, optimizing and creating new risk assessment processes, and acting as a process and information security subject matter expert to both internal and external parties as needed.
A successful leader will establish proactive understanding of his/her area in order to raise and address concerns with risks, execution, or similar areas as well as lead program initiatives. They will also maintain close relationships with key aligned LOB/technology partners, providing ability to support issue resolution, influence stakeholders on net new or on material changes to an asset, and influence control decisions. Provide the highest level of consultative services to stakeholders on new, emerging and/or most complex security issues and findings. Evaluate and interpret Information Security policies, processes and standards, and provide recommendations to improve them.
