Brokerage Technology is looking for a senior Business Systems Consultant for the Products team to be responsible for functional leadership in production support, maintenance and project delivery for marketing, compensation and research related applications and initiatives. This position will be heavily engaged with several vendor-hosted platforms where relationship management, process maturity, and operational activity oversight will be critical aspects of ensuring vendor conformity to Wells Fargo s Third-Party Hosted Solutions (TPHS) expectations and vendor-provided software delivery. This individual must be able to handle multiple ongoing projects/tasks and possess a strong combination of analytical, assessment, organizational and relationship management skills. He/she must be capable of working successfully with a wide variety of stakeholders such as business product owners, application owners, project managers, architects, application developers, testers, and others in a highly distributed environment. This position will work closely with both the technology and business groups to coordinate sizing efforts for incoming work, manage small base projects, groom the product backlogs and drive continuous improvement in these areas.

The successful candidate should demonstrate the following competencies:

  • Ability to partner and communicate with technology departments and other related project management teams

  • Ability to collaborate and negotiate
  • Ability to identify risk and comply with regulations/compliance requirements
  • Ability to work on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires evaluation of various factors
  • Ability to lead troubleshooting related to production incidents related to applications owned by the team
  • Ability to work on-call at times as assigned for Production Support duties related to the team
  • Ability to translate complex technical designs and issues into business terminology and communicate with business stakeholders at various levels
  • Virtual leadership experience with ability to effectively drive results, provide feedback/direction, manage and build relationships in a geographically dispersed business and team environment



Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of business systems analysis experience, business systems design experience, or a combination of both
  • 5+ years of vendor management experience



Desired Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Brokerage or wealth management experience
  • SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of application design and development in a client server architecture
  • Knowledge and understanding of Information Technology architecture design concepts, strategies, and standards
  • Ability to coordinate, lead and facilitate group meetings
  • Ability to present to multiple levels of management
  • Ability to drive the requirements process with both technical and business partners



Other Desired Qualifications
  • Application functional leadership with both custom and vendor-hosted platforms
  • Relationship / leadership experience managing vendor-hosted platforms
  • Functional application experience with Marketing, Compensation, and/or Securities Research platforms
  • Industry experience with Brokerage
  • Basic understanding of project financial processes (actuals, forecasting etc )
  • Experience with Jira agile work tracking tool
