Under the direction of the Nurse Manager/designee, performs a variety of quality, patient focused, and clerical duties in addition to monitoring rhythms and pulse oximetry on the central receiving station, at all times, to support the operations of the unit.
Part-Time 24 Hours/Week Days
1. Experience : Knowledge of medical terminology (cardiac) required. Previous telemetry/cardiac monitoring experience preferred. Computer experience with data entry and related secretarial experience strongly preferred.
2. Education and Training: High School Graduate or equivalent. Cardiac arrhythmia course required.
3. License Certification and Registration : CPR certified.
4. Other Requirements : Excellent communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Detail oriented. Tolerance for high stress situations. Ability to interact with professional staff. Successful completion of administered arrhythmia test with score of 90% or higher.
