Job Description

Primary Responsibilities:

* Review Certificate of Analysis (COAs) of incoming ingredients and compare to Internal Specifications to make sure they meet PepsiCo requirements. Work with GP/PD/Suppliers to modify CofA/Specs as needed
* Assign internal lot numbers and maintain traceability/inventory/expirations dates of ingredients via spreadsheets or task-specific software (SAP, etc). to remain compliant with FDA regulations
* Track usage of ingredients through daily overview of batch cards to keep inventory current
* Work/confirm with the batching team on ingredient usage during kitting and batching - confirming the correct ingredient / quantities are used in each batch
* Supports counting, data input and reconciliation for physical inventories
* Assist in receiving ingredients as needed - inspect trailers, paperwork, inspect ingredients, etc
* Responsible for creating NCRs (Ingredient and Quality) and managing inventory of items on HOLD. Work with Quality to arrange appropriate disposal as needed
* Assist in investigation and completion of any required Simple Root Cause Analyses
* Assist in startup, maintenance and ending of Kombucha concentrate fermentations
* Work with planning and production team to create and manage schedule and batch cards on a daily/weekly schedule
* Assist in the development of processes, guidelines and procedures to ensure quality and cost control
* Provide support to production team as needed
* Represent the Celsius location in daily R&R meetings at Elevar - report any safety/quality concerns, Defect Notification Forms, etc
* Maintains appropriate records and prepares reports as needed
* All other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications/Requirements

* Minimum of 2 years' experience in food/beverage manufacturing industry
* Computer literacy with Windows, Microsoft Office applications - ability to create and maintain complex, computerized spreadsheets
* Ability to work independently without close supervision to expedite and follow up on requests and assigned projects
* Strong mathematical aptitude and analytical skills
* Works effectively in a team environment
* Understands and complies with company GMP and safety requirements
* Must have high school diploma or GED
* Ability to work any shift and weekends
