Company:Guy CarpenterDescription:Position SummaryCandidate will join a fast-paced global team focused on credit risk transfer (CRT) within the public and private sectors including GSEs (Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac), mortgage insurers, financial guarantors and investment banks. Specifically, candidate will be responsible for providing analytical and financial support that will assist in structuring, marketing new transactions, performance reporting on existing transactions and segment dynamics. While the role is heavily analytically driven, candidate will have direct interaction with clients as well as reinsurance and capital markets.Location Preference: Philadelphia or Midtown ManhattanResponsibilities* Building financial and cash flow models used to market new transactions* Develop ever-to-date and forecasted performance reports* Develop pricing analyses and relative market comps* Analyze macroeconomic reports and develop a market view of risk* Utilizing financial and modeling platforms: CoreLogic, Intex and BloombergRequired experience:* 5-10 years of experience with an investment bank, management consultant, lender or mortgage servicer.* Ability to mine large data sets, write scripts / code and synthesize key points* Skilled in Microsoft Office products, particularly PowerPoint, Excel and Access* Python and R skillset desired but not required* Present to clients, prospects, reinsurers and investorsEducation* Required Undergraduate Degree in Business, preferably Finance, Mathematics or Statistics* Optional Master's Degree in Computational Finance or an MBA in Finance from a quantitatively oriented graduate business program* Key secondary education: Carnegie Mellon, MIT, Sloan, Tepper, Columbia, NYU, Stern, Darden, University of Chicago, Booth, WhartonOther requirements:* CFA or equivalent beneficial but not required.* Knowledge of GSE Credit Risk Transfer (CRT) programs and/or Mortgage Insurance Linked Notes (ILNs) would be a plus.Marsh & McLennan Companies and its Affiliates are EOE Minority/Female/Disability/Vet/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity employers.
