JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Business Systems Analyst (BSA) is the key interface with our business customers to implement new Human Resources information systems, improve our business processes, enable the automation of global processes and maximize the effectiveness of existing systems. The Senior BSA role is deeply knowledgeable in both our business processes and systems that support the HR business functions. The scope of the role includes working with key business stakeholders to interpret business needs and issues, translate them into actionable requirements, participate in design activities, configure software and reports, create functional specifications for reports, interfaces and extensions, develop test scenarios and participate in testing, implementation activities including training, and providing post-implementation support.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Responsible for implementing and supporting Oracle Cloud HR applications (Recruiting, Learning, Talent Management, Compensation Management, etc.).
  • Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing business processes/systems/technologies used in/for Human Resources and develops strategies for improving or leveraging these systems.

  • Enable and support global processes and global functionalities.

  • Work with various levels of users, understands business requirements with competing priorities and current business environments, defines functional and system requirements, identifies valid solutions, creates functional specifications for configurations, customizations, extensions, reports and interfaces.

  • Guide technical team to build solutions and makes sure deliverables meet the requirements.

  • Ensure that any new software integration meets functional/end user requirements; compliance and interface specifications and proper documentation are maintained.

  • Develop effective test scenarios, scripts and use cases with consideration of cross functional and process stream impact.

  • Analyze formal test results to discover and resolve defects, bugs, errors, configuration issues, and interoperability flaws.

  • Perform application system administration functions specific to application setup, configuration and maintenance.

  • Oversee projects and/or tasks and phases of projects; coordinate schedules and activities of teams and resources for assigned tasks or projects.

  • Involvement in production support as functional expert to address user issues.

  • Perform system, process and application monitoring and gather metrics.

  • Carry out procedures to ensure that all information systems products and services meet quality, organization standards and end user requirements.

  • POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Excellent Knowledge of Global HR systems processes and policies.
  • Strong functional knowledge in Oracle HCM suites (Core HCM, Performance Management, Talent Management, Compensation Management).
  • Preferred functional knowledge in Taleo (Recruiting, Onboarding and Learn).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast and dynamic environment and handle multiple projects.
  • Ability to effectively translate between functional and technical teams.
  • Ability to follow procedures and produce/maintain supporting documentation.
  • Ability to resolve simple to complex system problems in creative ways.
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • EDUCATION

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in relevant field or equivalent experience is required.
  • EXPERIENCE

  • Over 10 years of experience in HR processes and supporting systems.
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in Oracle HCM (Core HR, Performance Management, Talent Management, Compensation Management).

  • Commensurate technical experience to perform the job duties.

  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office.
