The Human Resource Associate serves is a customer support role in the HR Shared Service Center and provides exceptional customer service to employees and managers in response to inquiries related to a broad range of HR related topics, including but not limited to HR policy, talent acquisition, benefits and performance management.
Respond to customer inquiries by telephone or email
Resolve unusual requests that require a customized response; communicate solution or requested information to the customer
Reference department policies and procedures to ensure accuracy of response and to provide all available information to customers
Analyze and escalate more complex issues to Tier 2
Partner with Payment Services, HR Operations, Benefits and other departments to resolve issues
Process transactions by collecting required information or back-up documentation from the customer
Review offer packets and follow up with applicants regarding discrepancies
Provide system administration support for hiring managers and applicants
Manage workload efficiently to fulfill commitments in accordance with established service level agreements (SLAs)
Utilize case management tracking application to document and track all service requests
Perform other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor s degree in Human Resources or related field strongly preferred
Prior HR administrative experience or call center environment strongly preferred
Strong communication skills with an emphasis on tact and diplomacy; this includes the ability to speak and write clearly to deliver customer service excellence over the phone and through e-mail
Ability to prioritize, multi-task and remain flexible and change pace with workflow demands
Exhibits teamwork and a collaborative work ethic with colleagues
Demonstrates a willingness to learn, implement new processes and work independently
Empathetic and confident phone presence
Attention to detail
Effective research and problem-solving skills
Proficient in MS Office and utilizing HRIS systems
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and employee privacy
Bilingual language skills a plus
