Security Hub aggregates, organizes, and prioritizes security alerts, or findings, from multiple AWS services, as well as from AWS Partner solutions. Customers findings are then visually summarized on integrated dashboards with actionable graphs and tables. Customers can also continuously monitor their environment using an automated compliance checks based on the AWS best practices and industry standards their organization follows, providing a timely view of their overall security and compliance status. The AWS Security Hub team is looking for a passionate and innovative St. Technical Program Manager (TPM) to focus on defining and driving our programs around coordinating with internal and external security partners who integrate with Security Hub. This is a technical role. The ideal candidate will be able to work with the development team as well as internal and external partners to define, track, and improve the integration process across dozens of partners, enabling us to radically scale up the number and quality of integrations.
While having a background in online security is helpful, it is not required. What you need is a desire to work on the bleeding edge, a desire to work on complex and ambiguous problems, and the ability to simplify that complexity for our customers. Most importantly, you must have a strong backbone, be willing to fight for the privacy and protection of our customers, and be able to earn and maintain the trust of your coworkers. You will use your exceptional communication skills, technical skills, and organizational skills in order to bridge the worlds of developers, product managers, internal and external partners, and of course customers.
8+ years' experience working in software industry. Bachelors' degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience. 2+ years of management, PM, or TPM experience, or similar. Masters' degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience. Some prior experience as a software developer. Strong cloud computing fundamentals. Prior experience designing and implementing large-scale distributed systems.
